About Us

cropped-troop308banner.jpgTroop 308 has been active for 71 years and has a proud history of helping boys become well-rounded young men.

Every Tuesday at 7:30p at FUMC Family Life Center, you will find 45-88 scouts and many of our 51 adult leaders, working on Merit Badges, planning camp outs and service projects.  Troop 308 has a proud legacy of not only helping young men reach the rank of Eagle, but also helping our community through service to others.

Our Scoutmaster is Dr. Edwin Morrison.  He has been active in scouting for more than 45 years.  The Waco Tribune had some nice words to say about him and Mrs. Morrison.  Link to Article

Troop 308 contributed over 2200 hours of service to our community in 2017.  These hours were in addition to the service hours given through the Eagle Projects our Scouts gave the community.  Our 2016 and 2017 Eagle Scouts contributed 2742 hours of service.  We are very proud of their contributions.  To see what their projects were and who our new Eagle Scouts are, click here.
